Carnie found that it really is a very small world as he met two men from Pittsburgh when we were leaving Amarillo, Texas in the morning. Being a biker himself, Carnie asked for a picture. The bikers were John Collins from Homestead and Jim Simon from Forest Hills. Both men were out west traveling the mountains and looking for wild life. They showed Carnie pictures of Elk and other wild game they encountered.
Here is Fran Houser, owner of the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, Texas She instantly took a liking to Carnie. The cartoon Character Flo from "Cars" was patterned after her. Because of Fran’s fame from "Cars", Carnie got an autograph. He hasn’t stopped talking about it since!!
People who travel the Mother Road aren’t just from America. Carnie talked to a few from other nations. Here are Andrea Vonlonthen and Thomas Corpataux from Fribourg, Switzerland!
Carnie continues to jabber away at everyone he meets. But that’s Carnie on the Road.
